VEX EDR is a middle and high school robotics competition that STEM Enterprises has integrated into our curriculum in the past two years. We initiated this program in a local high school, Morgantown High, and it has been a major success. We have funded a well developed club in the school to promote STEM Education and have a STEM Enterprises sponsored team that competes well.

This program allows for mental development that encourages a child to apply his knowledge to practical, rather than knowing simply the facts behind it. This program encourages creativity and requires much brainstorming, as seen in the engineering book the students develop over the season. This student teaches programming, physics, mathematics, and logical thinking, all of which are crucial to understanding our developing society.
